Today was filled with Railroad riding. It's an eight hr trip from Anchorage to Denali National Park, where we will be spending the next 3 nights. It's rainy and cooler up here. They tell us there is fires here but we are safe. You can definitely smell fire in the air though. The train car we were in was cool. It was domed so you could see the sights and had an open observation deck you could go out onto. Mainly, mountains, rivers, and trees. A few moose but much to quick for the camera. The trip wasn't bad as unlike a plane you can really get up and move around. This is true though for the 3 year old screamer kid that ran up and down the aisle. But I'm not sure he was as bad as the drunk very LOUD couple that started with their Bloody Mary's at 8am.

Day 2, Alaska Railroad to Denali
To start, just an update from yesterday and to answer questions people have about the sunset and how light it is here. This first photo is at 9:15pm, and the second at 11:15pm. It finally got dark enough for street lights about 11:30. It was really totally dark about 2am, and starting to get light again and totally light by 4am.
