Day 14

Today I drove to the airport to drop off Max and Jim so they could head back home...to the HEAT I hear!  It's sad that Jim can't get any PAID time to be able to stay.  I think Max is ready though to get back to his cat, and his own room.  I'm sure he's MORE than ready to get back to his big brothers at the meeting this coming Sunday.

So I might post pictures from time to time, but not much happening in my "alone" time here for the next week, or so, until my travel buddy and friend Peggy comes to visit.  She's on the countdown now!!  11 more days!

Oh and FYI: if you click on the pictures on the blog they will become bigger and easier to view.  :)

Thanks again to my parents for letting me stay at their beautiful home.

Off to the beach................

Jet skiing, Day 13

So he's out of his room and off to jet skiing.  I think Max and Dad had fun! I know dad did, but he lost his expensive glasses.  So if anyone goes diving in the Kona area, can you look for them!

June 20th

Birthday dinner after a day of ziplining.  You would think they didn't have much fun, not many smiles in the photos!

Birthday

In honor of Max's birthday I'm posting a few pictures of him I haven't posted yet!  Will post more pictures later as Jim and Max are out enjoying the Zipline tour I got them for Father's Day/Birthday gifts.

Another pretty day!

We had some beautiful downpouring rain last night.  All of you following from the desert get why that is a GREAT thing.  It sounded nice, smelled heavenly and best yet we could keep all the windows open.
Today was so sunny and beautiful Jim and I went back to the beach.  It was windy enough for windsurfers, and sunny enough for the turtles to come out of the water.

Family time

Today was alittle cloudy so no suntanning time.  Jim and Max went to the Starbucks for breakfast.  Jim and I went for a walk afterward.  Later the three of us went down to Kona for dinner and alittle window shopping.  Jim's thinking he found his thing he can do for work.  We saw these beautiful metal gates at the Hilton, and also found more work by the same artist at a local gallery.

Day 7

I woke up this morning, very windy all night and very windy earlier today.  I was thinking, wow it's been a week already, I'm SOOO glad that I'm not done with this vacation, it would be too soon.  Today Max and I went to pick up Jim for his week out here.  He's glad to be here as much as we are to have him here.

Another beach day

So sitting at the beach today, I made some observations.  First, I think I could do a job where I can go barefoot all day.  Was sitting watching the tour guide on the glass bottom boat come in and out all day.  BAREFOOT job, where to I apply!??!

Seemed to be alot of whiny spoiled kids at the beach today.  "I'm bored" "I want.....", and one parent saying, "gee I'm glad we came to the beach to have fun today"...while listening to their about 8 yr old daughter whining that she couldn't have a snow cone.  WTH is wrong with kids??

Mine has been sick pretty much since we got here.  He's been hiding out in his room, just like home.  Wondering why I paid to bring him to this room.

So just view pictures today.....
