Seattle
We are here at Gender Odyssey a conference in Seattle. Best part of course is escaping that 110 degrees of Arizona for the cool 70's here in Seattle. Otherwise, it's wonderful to be with our new "friends". As well to be in an area that is SOOOOO excepting of us and our son. Max is a hit with many adults. Mainly for being so brave to share his story on TV. The teens he's meeting, he said are just like anywhere else, some you like some you don't. He's enjoying just being a kid and NOT really talking with the kids about trans things. Just being one of the guys and being excepted as one of the guys is what's perfect. I really think Max is so much happier every little bit closer to being JUST MAX. Chaz has been part of this weekend as well, so Max has had a couple of opportunities to meet up with him again! He still wants to DANCE with Ellen...then I think he will feel his life is complete LOL.

4th Of July
Happy 4th from the island. I didn't have to leave the lanai (except to go to the airport earlier to pick up Peggy).

Day 14
Today I drove to the airport to drop off Max and Jim so they could head back home...to the HEAT I hear! It's sad that Jim can't get any PAID time to be able to stay. I think Max is ready though to get back to his cat, and his own room. I'm sure he's MORE than ready to get back to his big brothers at the meeting this coming Sunday.
So I might post pictures from time to time, but not much happening in my "alone" time here for the next week, or so, until my travel buddy and friend Peggy comes to visit. She's on the countdown now!! 11 more days!
Oh and FYI: if you click on the pictures on the blog they will become bigger and easier to view. :)
Thanks again to my parents for letting me stay at their beautiful home.

Jet skiing, Day 13
So he's out of his room and off to jet skiing. I think Max and Dad had fun! I know dad did, but he lost his expensive glasses. So if anyone goes diving in the Kona area, can you look for them!

June 20th
Birthday dinner after a day of ziplining. You would think they didn't have much fun, not many smiles in the photos!
Birthday
In honor of Max's birthday I'm posting a few pictures of him I haven't posted yet! Will post more pictures later as Jim and Max are out enjoying the Zipline tour I got them for Father's Day/Birthday gifts.

Another pretty day!
We had some beautiful downpouring rain last night. All of you following from the desert get why that is a GREAT thing. It sounded nice, smelled heavenly and best yet we could keep all the windows open.
Today was so sunny and beautiful Jim and I went back to the beach. It was windy enough for windsurfers, and sunny enough for the turtles to come out of the water.
